“After Talking” shows that strange quiet moment after a long conversation, when nothing more is being said, but you can still feeleverything that was. The figures are stretched out, half–relaxed, half–tense, sharing the same space but each su savo mintimis. The loose lines and sketchy bodies feel like thoughts that haven’t fully formed yet, while the red marks hint at emotions that are still alive under the surface.
It’s about the space between two people: how you can be very close and at the same time a little far away, lying next to each other, not knowing, ar jau gerai, ar dar ne. An everyday scene, but with that small emotional electricity that stays in the room after talking.
