About Us & Our Services
Cleo Collects is a gallery and design studio based in Western Australia, specialising in contemporary art, 20th-century European design, and rare, storied objects. Our collection brings together a curated selection of Art Deco, Brutalist, and Cubist antiques, styles defined by bold form, rich materiality, and historical weight, alongside exceptional contemporary works from a roster of 30 international artists.
We offer a range of services for collectors, designers, and private clients, including art advisory, antique sourcing, interior design consultation, and auction representation. Whether you're seeking a single statement piece or building a lifelong collection, we work collaboratively to source, place, and curate pieces with lasting impact and meaning.
At the heart of Cleo Collects is founder and director Bronte Taton, whose deep affection for European decorative arts is informed by a life lived between France and the United States. Her design philosophy balances the elegance and restraint of French design with a fearless embrace of individuality.
“I’ve always been drawn to objects that hold meaning and history. For me, good design is never disposable, it’s something that reflects who we are and how we live. My love for Art Deco, Brutalist, and Cubist works comes from their strength of form and clarity of intent. These are pieces that speak without shouting. They carry the architecture of their era, yet remain strikingly relevant.” — Bronte Taton
Our Highgate gallery reflects this ethos: a layered and evolving space where modern art, sculptural design, and heritage pieces coexist in dialogue. We are passionate about mixing eras and ideas, pairing the raw geometry of Brutalist furniture with the elegance of Deco lighting, or placing contemporary sculpture alongside Cubist painting.
Cleo Collects is dedicated to creating interiors and collections that feel intentional, personal, and deeply rooted in design history. Our work is defined by a love for craftsmanship, context, and the enduring power of well-chosen objects.
