The Matriarchs by Marlo Lyda
Description
Matriarchs reimagine the Toile collection as sculptural suspended forms, expanding its language through generous proportions and architectural presence. Retaining the signature hand-stitched construction, visible seams and softened silhouette, the collection explores the relationship between light, textile and space with an elegant sense of scale.
Crafted in natural calico or luxurious silk, each pendant diffuses light softly through its textile surface, bringing warmth, depth and tactility to interiors. Whether suspended individually or arranged in a composition, the Matriarchs create a striking focal point while maintaining the quiet, sculptural character that defines the Toile family.
Each shade is hand-stitched over a powder-coated steel frame and made to order in Sydney, Australia.

Buyer Protection
Every piece available through Cleo Collects is carefully selected and represented as accurately as possible.
For original artworks, antiques and vintage pieces, variations, patina, wear and signs of age are part of the character and history of the piece and are not considered faults. We endeavour to clearly photograph and describe the condition of each item.
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or materially different from its description, please contact us promptly and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Care Instructions
Our collection includes original artworks, handcrafted pieces, antiques, vintage furniture and contemporary design, and care requirements will vary between pieces and materials.
As a general guide, we recommend keeping artworks and delicate materials away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture. Furniture and objects should be cleaned gently using products appropriate to their material and finish.
Antique and vintage pieces may show natural signs of age, patina and previous use. These characteristics form part of their history and should be treated with care rather than considered imperfections.
