Pascal Jarrion
Pascal Jarrion (b. 1961, Perpignan, France) is a painter and sculptor whose practice is deeply shaped by his Catalan heritage and a lifelong engagement with form, material, and cultural expression. Raised in a region that has inspired artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh, and Maillol, Jarrion studied at Les Beaux-Arts de Perpignan, developing a foundation in fine art that has continued to evolve across his career.
Since moving to Los Angeles in 2005, Jarrion has devoted himself fully to painting and sculpture. He works across a variety of mediums, including oil on canvas, mixed media, ceramic sculpture, and bronze. His surfaces often carry hand-painted or patinaed finishes, reflecting his sensitivity to process and material. Jarrion’s work combines clarity of form with emotional depth, producing pieces that are both timeless and exploratory.
His exhibition history spans international group and solo presentations, including Quest for Impact (BTAG, Barcelona, 2002), Japan Je T’Adore (The Ghetto, Tokyo, 2008), Purity in Motion (Sacred Gallery, New York, 2011), Beverly Hills Art Show (2012), Tattoo Art Today (Somerset House, London, 2014), and more recently the Palm Springs Modernism Show (2023, 2024) and Hamptons Fine Art Fair (2025). In 2024, he completed a major commission for a large bronze sculpture at the Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University, a landmark achievement in his career.
At Cleo Collects, we value Jarrion’s ability to merge historical influence with contemporary clarity. His paintings and sculptures bring weight and refinement to interiors, offering works that resonate equally in richly layered historic spaces and pared-back modern settings. His practice exemplifies our ethos of bridging heritage and future, creating art that feels both deeply personal and universally compelling.
