Jasmine Raisbeck

Jasmine Raisbeck (b. 1986) is an emerging Australian figurative painter and ceramic artist based in Boorloo/Perth, Western Australia. A self-taught artist with a professional background in journalism and television production, Raisbeck brings a narrative sensibility to her practice that is rooted in years of interviewing, storytelling, and documenting human experience.

Her art articulates the intimacy of ordinary life, moments with family, the quiet gestures of domesticity, and the nuanced emotions of motherhood and womanhood. Working primarily in acrylic paint, Raisbeck draws on both old and new photographic references, layering memory and observation into tender, painterly scenes. Her ceramic practice echoes these themes, favouring tactile finishes, softened edges, and forms that resonate with natural geometries such as shells, spirals, and river bends. Each work reflects her commitment to finding beauty in the everyday, balancing personal reflection with universal resonance.

Raisbeck’s work has been widely recognised. She has been a finalist in numerous national awards, including the Naked and Nude Art Prize (2025), Weswal Gallery Interior Art Prize (2024), National Emerging Artist Prize (2022), and the SBS Portrait Prize (2020). Earlier accolades include Third Prize at the Claremont Art Awards (2021) and Highly Commended in The Gallerist Emerging Artist Prize (2021). Her work has been exhibited in group shows such as Palette: Near and Far(2025), and featured in design spaces including Bedouin Traders, Showroom X, Frey Home, and Merci Maison. Her pieces are held in private collections across Australia and have been profiled in publications such as Domain Magazine(2024) and the Sunday Times Magazine (2023).

At Cleo Collects, we see Raisbeck’s work as an act of care, for material, process, and the lives that unfold around her objects. Her paintings and ceramics bring warmth and human scale to layered interiors, tempering stronger historical statements with intimacy and ease. Each piece evolves with time, welcoming patina and use as collaborators in the creative process. This sensitivity to both story and material makes Raisbeck’s practice deeply aligned with our ethos of bridging heritage and future through design.
