Thrilled to introduce Jorge Kilzi Mush lamps to the Cleo Collects gallery. These are comprised of two mushroom-shaped lamps made entirely of fibreglass and organic resins.  This opaque material allows light to spread outwards, imbuing a warm glow and ambiance into any interior - existing as both a practical light source and ornamental piece.  Jorge shares that his project began with no particular form in mind but later found a resemblance to mushrooms when complete - which he also shares a fascination for the fungi kingdom. 

As a grown man, Jorge’s sensibilities of his childhood took him all the way to Japan, where worked as an architect in the offices of Sejima+Nishizawa Associated Architects/ SANAA and Junya Ishigami. Swiss architecture, which seemed in contrast, firm and steady, called upon him on a different basis, a return to order but also a reconnection to nature. A recent trip to Mexico and the mesoamericas, felt to Jorge as forgiveness to his early history and aesthetics. 

Driven by years of immersion in exotic culture and architectural experience, in 2018, he made the decision to become a freelance architect and artist, going from fields of architectural visualisations to ceramics and furniture, giving special attention to drawings and decorative motives. Every piece is expressed in simple forms and delicate emotions, where fluid silhouettes accompany each other like a soul in companionship.

Every piece available through Cleo Collects is carefully selected and represented as accurately as possible.

For original artworks, antiques and vintage pieces, variations, patina, wear and signs of age are part of the character and history of the piece and are not considered faults. We endeavour to clearly photograph and describe the condition of each item.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or materially different from its description, please contact us promptly and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

Our collection includes original artworks, handcrafted pieces, antiques, vintage furniture and contemporary design, and care requirements will vary between pieces and materials.

As a general guide, we recommend keeping artworks and delicate materials away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture. Furniture and objects should be cleaned gently using products appropriate to their material and finish.

Antique and vintage pieces may show natural signs of age, patina and previous use. These characteristics form part of their history and should be treated with care rather than considered imperfections.

We ship Australia-wide and internationally.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the size, weight and destination of each piece. For larger, fragile or oversized items, a custom freight quote may be required. Our team can assist with arranging specialist delivery where necessary.

Please note that antique, vintage, original artwork and made-to-order pieces may have different dispatch and delivery timeframes. Any specific lead times will be noted on the individual product page.

For international orders, any applicable duties, taxes or customs charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.

For eligible items, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order if you would like to request a return. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
