Artist Biography
Founded in 2019, Good Living & Co. is a family-owned furniture manufacturer dedicated to exceptional craftsmanship and timeless design. The brand was born from a passion for traditional artisan techniques, combined with a contemporary approach to form and functionality.
The company was founded by Monika Szyca-Thomas, whose family has been deeply connected to Polish craftsmanship for generations. This heritage began with her great-grandfather, Tomasz, and was carried forward by her grandfather, Tadeusz, who established a locksmith and mechanical workshop on Towarowa Street in Chojnice in 1957. A master locksmith, Tadeusz passed his knowledge and skills on to the next generation, creating a legacy that continues to shape the brand today.
Each piece of furniture is handcrafted in the very workshop founded by Tadeusz, where experienced artisans, many trained within the workshop itself, continue to preserve traditional techniques while creating furniture for modern living.
