Six Dots Design

Artist Biography

Six Dots Design brings playful elegance to contemporary interiors through distinctive furniture and homeware, all crafted in its East London workshop. Founded by Joseph Ellwood, the award-winning studio is known for expressive forms, raw materials and a refreshing approach to contemporary design that celebrates individuality, imperfection and self-expression.

Its debut collection, Contemporary Vanity, features raw-finished, laser-cut aluminium pieces that playfully challenge traditional mid-century design conventions. Designed with versatility and longevity in mind, the collection reflects the studio’s commitment to considered production, sustainable materials and recyclability.

Every Six Dots Design piece is made to order with an emphasis on craftsmanship and character. Rather than concealing the process of making, the studio embraces visible joins, textures and imperfections, allowing each object to retain a sense of honesty and individuality.

At the heart of Six Dots Design is the belief that interiors should encourage self-determination rather than conformity. The studio hopes its pieces help their owners feel more themselves; accepted, empowered and inspired to create spaces on their own terms.

Working with private clients, interior designers, curators and collectors, Six Dots Design creates unique, artful furniture and objects for both residential and public spaces.
