PletoStudio

PletoStudio

Artist Biography

PletoStudio is a Ukrainian design studio creating sculptural lighting and refined objects where light, material and form are treated as a single atmospheric language.

Working through a slow, hands-on process, the studio explores natural and tactile materials including clay, hemp fibres, cellulose, wood shavings, mineral powders, wool, linen, cotton, velvet and raffia. Many pieces are formed from the studio’s proprietary Pleto Biocomposite, giving each object an organic surface and a distinctly handcrafted presence.

Rooted in Ukrainian craft traditions and informed by the quiet restraint of Japanese aesthetics, PletoStudio’s work balances raw texture with sculptural clarity. Each piece is made intentionally by artisans, with an emphasis on material integrity, conscious production and objects that bring softness, depth and presence to an interior.

The studio’s collection spans floor and table lamps, chandeliers, mirrors, coffee tables and one-of-a-kind decorative objects.
