Her work invites a reassessment of value — of what we overlook, discard, or deem secondary; revealing beauty through intention, restraint, and process. This philosophy extends beyond her own making into the exhibitions she curates, where material honesty and community sit at the core.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"655\" data-end=\"1113\"\u003eA graduate of Design Academy Eindhoven (2021), Marlo brings together rigorous design thinking with a deeply hands-on, collaborative approach. Her work spans furniture, lighting, and material research, and has been exhibited at Dutch Design Week and across Australia. In 2023, she founded \u003cem data-start=\"943\" data-end=\"952\"\u003eMATTERS\u003c\/em\u003e, a curatorial platform and exhibition series exploring intention in design, with its second instalment recognised as a standout of Melbourne Design Week 2024.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1115\" data-end=\"1606\"\u003eMarlo is the recipient of the NSW Design (Early Career) Fellowship – Powerhouse Residency (2023), through which she developed \u003cem data-start=\"1241\" data-end=\"1260\"\u003eTurning (Camphor)\u003c\/em\u003e, exhibited during Melbourne Design Week.
